Ebb+Flow Workshop 3

Tuesday 3rd September 2024

Help create a community piece of artwork!

During August and September, the Shire of Waroona will be hosting the Act Belong Commit Ebb+Flow Exhibition. The artwork, created by artists in collaboration with community in each region of Western Australia, explores how changes in our personal lives and regional communities are often temporary. That there are periods of decline and growth, drought and rain, hardship and prosperity…that factors outside of our control ebb+flow.

Peel artist Deidre Robb, who’s artwork ‘Stitches in Time’ features in the exhibition, will be hosting a series of three community workshops to create a new piece of artwork with the theme of ‘I love this place’.

Join Deidre for the final workshop on Tuesday 3 September, between 9.30am and 4pm at the Waroona Arts and Craft Centre. This workshop is an all-day drop-in stitching session and is suitable for people who love to hand-stitch or are keen to learn. Come along and help work on the final piece of artwork for as long or as little as you like.

The Ebb+Flow tour to Waroona is a collaboration between Shire of Waroona, North Midlands Project and the Regional Arts Network, proudly partnering with Healthway and Regional Arts WA to promote the Act Belong Commit message.
