Parks, Reserves & Playgrounds

There are several parks and gardens within the Shire of Waroona to enjoy some leisure time, have a picnic, or burn some energy on a playground. To enquire about booking one of these spaces for a party, wedding, or event, please contact one of the Shire’s customer service officers.

Railside Park

Located South Western Highway, Waroona. Please see here for information on Railside Park.

Centennial Park

Located South Western Highway, Waroona. Centennial Park has playground facilities, large open greenspace, toilet facilities, ample parking, and undercover seating.

Pisconeri Park

Located Pisconeri Heights, Waroona. Pisconeri Park has playground facilities and large open greenspace.

Kings Place Park

Located Kings Place, Waroona. Kings Place Park has playground facilities and shaded greenspace.

Waroona Recreation Centre Park

Located Hill Street, Waroona. The Recreation Centre Park has playground facilities, outdoor basketball courts, skate facilities, and open greenspace. There are toilet facilities located in the Recreation Centre available only during opening times.

Drakesbrook Weir

Located Weir Road, Waroona. The Drakesbrook Weir has large open greenspace, undercover seating, BBQ facilities, toilet facilities, freshwater recreation, and a nature playground.

Preston Beach Reserve

Located Preston Beach. Preston Beach Reserve has playground facilities, greenspace, undercover seating, BBQ facilities, toilet facilities, and access to the beach.  

Hamel Park

Located Cullinga Street, Hamel. Hamel Park has playground facilities and shaded greenspace areas.

Lake Clifton Reserve

Located Tuart Grove Avenue, Lake Clifton. Lake Clifton Reserve has outdoor courts, playground facilities, and houses the Lake Clifton Community Hall.
