At the coming of the dawn, we will remember them.
Join the Waroona-Hamel RSL for the 2022 Waroona ANZAC Day Commemoration Service on Monday 25 April. ANZAC Day recognises the sacrifice, suffering and contribution our returned serviceman and their families have made to home and country.
The day will commence with a 6.15am Dawn Service at Waroona War Memorial. This will be followed by a Gunfire Breakfast at Waroona Memorial Hall.
At 10:45am the ANZAC Parade from Waroona Memorial Hall to the Waroona War Memorial will take place, followed by the ANZAC Service, commencing at 11:00am.
At the completion of the Service there will be ANZAC Day activities including light refreshments at the Waroona Bowling Club to conclude the day.
“Remember all the men who have died. Remember all the battles fought. Remember all the tears families cried. Remember it was freedom the soldiers brought.”
