The Development Assessment Panel held its meeting for the proposed Battery Energy Storage System for Lot 702 on Deposited Plan 59305, Wagerup on Thursday 11 July 2024. The Metro Outer DAP resolved to approve this DAP application.
In summary, with the approval of the mover and seconder, the following amendment was made:
That Condition No. 2 be amended to read as follows:
This decision constitutes planning approval only and is valid for a period of two four years from the date of approval. If the subject development is not substantially commenced within the specified period, the approval shall lapse and be of no further effect.
Reason being to remain consistent with the usual substantial commencement timeframe for DAP applications.
